Social Leaders Diploma, 2nd Generation

Fundación Fleishman, together with Tec de Monterrey, held a virtual meeting this March to kick off the 2nd Generation of the Diplomado “Líderes Sociales (Social Leaders Diploma Program) Program for the Strengthening and Development of Civil Society Organizations,” aiming to strengthen foundations and associations in southern Tamaulipas. 

This initiative aligns with Fundación Fleishman’s vision of being a high-impact philanthropic leader, empowering organizations and society to bring about significant, long-term social change.

The Líderes Sociales Diploma Program is taught by Tec de Monterrey and includes 7 modules led by experts over 120 hours across 6 months, focusing on the strengthening and institutionalization of each participating organization.

Fundación Fleishman, presidida por los hermanos Herman y Robert Fleishman, otorgó las becas completas para este Diplomado contando con la asistencia de 18 participantes, de 10 asociaciones del Sur de TamaulipasFundación Fleishman, directed by brothers Herman and Robert Fleishman, awarded full scholarships for this Diploma Program, with the participation of 18 individuals from 10 associations in southern Tamaulipas, including Árbol de Justicia, Casa Amiga de la Obrera, Voluntad contra el Cáncer, Tapitas Salvando Vidas, Fundación Manos Unidas, Fundación Maria Jones de Edgar, Alianza 2021, Asilo Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, Cáritas Tampico, and Patronato Pro-Escuela de Deficientes Mentales.

The event was attended by executives from GT GLOBAL and Fundación Fleishman, led by Sergio Rodríguez Almaguer and Mariana Priego Zavala. Representing Tec de Monterrey were Dr. Ana Cecilia Torres González, Associate Dean of Continuing Education and Internationalization at the School of Humanities and Education at Monterrey Campus, Marco Vargas, Director of the Tampico Campus, and Felipe Cajiga, an expert tutor for the diploma program. Also present was Martha Holguera Fernández, representing the 1st Generation of this Diploma Program supported by Fundación Fleishman, as well as 18 members of the associations that will be participating in the program.

This is how Fundación Fleishman continues to promote various strategies that contribute to the development of foundations and organizations in southern Tamaulipas, impacting and benefiting our community.
